Almost six months back I tweeted a picture of a chair I found at a thrift store.  With a little creative thinking and some (gifted from a friend) high-end fabric, I was able to create what is now my favorite chair.  The truth about this chair makeover is that it’s very rock-n-roll and in fact a little ugly – but thats why I love it.  In design you always want that one piece that makes a statement. The above image is of my inspiration board for my loft. I knew I wanted to introduce a hide somewhere in my living space. Can you guess where?

There you go. The back was upholstered in hide and  makes for great eye candy. The chair has now become a piece of art. Think outside the box. I dare you to be domestic!
