Hook Me Up: How A Hook Can Change Your Life.

If there is one item in my home that saves me every time, it’s my collection of strategically-placed hooks.  My issue used to be that I was always loosing my keys, and you know the rest:  You’re set, ready to go, but can’t leave ‘cuz you can’ t find your keys.  And they are NO WHERE in sight.  Now you’re stressed, perplexed, and late!

I must give credit where credit is due.  It was my roommate who got me on a “hook fetish.”  Now I use hooks to help with everything from remembering where my keys are, to organizing items like belts, my man bags (I know), and clothing.

There are many stylish options when it comes to hooking up your home (get it), and there are low-to-no cash options.  I’ll let you in on a secret:  The hooks in my closet are actually large nails through a beam with decorative fabric wrapped and knotted around the nail head!  They work great for holding my belts and hats.  The fabric prevents the nails from damaging my items while adding a little style.  Of course, more designer options can add a little spice to any pad.  Take a look.  I Dare You to be Domestic!

Hooks are great for:

  • car keys
  • bags and purses
  • clothing/dry cleaning
  • robes/pajamas
  • jackets
  • sports equipment
  • shopping bags
  • umbrellas
  • jewelry  and much more.
