Halloween is two days away, and it’s got me thinking about
Halloween stuff. One being toilet
paper. I won’t go into the whole toilet
papering the house thing but rather I want to pose the question… Should
your toilet paper hang over or under?
Most of us get that wrong!
In my experience with dealing with toilet paper (yes, experience, LOL!),
the roll should always hang over.
I base my reasoning on an unscientific study I did at my last corporate
job.  Over the course of a week, I examined the toilet paper dispensers in my
building’s restrooms. You know the
type—those vertical multiple roll holders. After the fifth day, the roll holder where the toilet paper
was hanging over was used way more often.
But of course, it’s easier to reach and it won’t unwind itself ending in
a mess of wasted paper onto the floor.
