Fall is here. HOORRAAAYYY! In LA you know it’s arrived because of the Santa Anna winds. It’s crazy windy outside!

Today’s decorating tip was inspired by the wind. This morning when I walked outside to move my car, I couldn’t help but notice all the wind-scattered debris. There were branches, seeds, leaves and vines. They all had beautiful lines and were reminiscent of items I’d seen in high-end design stores. I had to bring some in. Check out the cool accessories provided by Mother Nature herself:

For a little more modern feel, break out the spray paint and jazz your finds up a bit.

A glass vase combined with some cool branches or stones make for a nice side table accessory. I found a great piece of driftwood at the beach and it’s now my coffee table centerpiece. So get outside and start collecting.
