A Quick, Low-Cost Charming Baby Shower Centerpiece Creation

One of my bestest friends (yes I said bestest) Dawn aka Lucky is having a baby girl. I’m so excited! And guess who had to help plan not one shower but two? Now I love planning parties, and I love working with a budget (in this economy), but even more astounding was that I had never been to a baby shower before! Go figure.

After weeks of planning food, games, and prizes, I forgot something very important—the table centerpieces. So with $30.00 left in the budget here is what I came up with. Tell me if you like:

$6.00 – 6 vases from the $.99 Only Store. When I saw them I was like “these are so ugly,” but I had to make them work somehow.

$3.00 - I found baby socks on clearance and bought 3 packs, which yielded six individual socks.

$12.00 – Simple daisies from my local Trader Joe’s. Bright and cheery.
